Eagle County has many criminals, but no real crimes

Several Eagle County Sheriff's reports state that Eagle County has many crimes, but no real criminals. Several reports came in over the weekend, most of them just people looking to have a good time. One man was so startled by a deputy, that he put his car in reverse, and drove off the road, causing the deputy to write him a ticket for suspicion of driving under the influence, and careless driving. Fourtunately for the "victim," the Eagle County Jail was full, so all he got was a free ride home from the po po's. Another report stated that 6 people total had breached a fence and were having a swell time in someone else's hot tub. The 70 year old woman who reported the "crime," told police later that she didn't appreciate looking out the window and seeing nude people that she didn't know. The 3 men and 3 women who were in the tub, weren't drunk, just relaxing and drinking some beer. However, they were missing the appropriate swim wear. Everyone was over the age of 21, but when officers found them, they were told to dump out the beer and go back to where they were staying. All received a trespassing ticket. If you visit Eagle County, beware! Any strange and unusual "crime" you commit could land you a write up in the local paper, or worse, a ride home from our friendly police department.
